At KnockLab ("we", "our", or "us"), your privacy is our top priority. KnockLab is designed from the ground up as a private, high-performance training ground for door-to-door sales representatives.

        Core Privacy Principle:

        We do not sell your personal data. We do not store your raw audio recordings. We do not use your pitch transcripts to train public AI models.

1. Information We Collect

When you use the KnockLab iOS application, we may collect and process the following categories of information:

Microphone Audio & Speech Data: With your explicit permission, KnockLab accesses your device's microphone during live roleplay drills to transcribe your speech into text. Audio buffers are processed on-device and in real-time, and raw audio is immediately discarded after the drill concludes.
Drill Performance & Scores: Metrics such as objection scores, feedback grades, completed drills, and streak counts. These are stored locally on your device using Apple Keychain and encrypted App Storage.
Subscription & Purchase Identifiers: Anonymous subscriber identifiers generated by RevenueCat to manage and restore your In-App Purchases and subscription entitlements.
Anonymous Product Telemetry: Anonymized usage data (e.g. app version, screens viewed, drill completions) processed via our privacy-hardened PostHog EU analytics instance. Session replay and text autocapture are permanently disabled.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information exclusively to:

Deliver real-time AI homeowner roleplay responses and coach scorecard grading.
Track your skill progression across objection types and door states.
Verify and fulfill active KnockLab Pro subscriptions.
Diagnose technical issues and enhance application reliability.

3. Third-Party Service Providers

We work with trusted infrastructure providers who adhere to strict data security and confidentiality standards:

Google AI (Gemini): Used to generate dynamic homeowner replies and evaluate sales pitches. Text prompts sent to Gemini are processed securely via encrypted HTTPS and are not retained for model training.
RevenueCat: Manages Apple StoreKit 2 subscription receipts, renewals, and entitlement status.
PostHog (EU Cloud): Collects privacy-sanitized telemetry. Audio transcripts, user names, and pitch texts are strictly stripped prior to transmission.

4. Data Retention & Security

We employ industry-standard encryption protocols (TLS 1.3 in transit and AES-256 at rest). You can reset your local training history, scores, and offer profile at any time directly in the KnockLab Settings screen.

5. Children's Privacy

KnockLab is intended for working professionals and sales teams. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13.

6. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

Depending on your location, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or permanent deletion of your data. Because KnockLab does not require personal account registration with email or password, your data is tied to your anonymous device identifier.
